Cardz TV's "You're the Man" Stamp Release Blog Hop Day 2~

Hello my crafty friends!
Welcome to the Cardz TV's "You'e the Man" Stamp Release Blog Hop!!!
I am so happy that you could join us today for day 2 of the hop! If you did not get the chance to hop with us yesterday, you can just go Here and see all the wonderful projects that our design team has created just to showcase this gorgeous stamp set!
You should have arrived here from Laura's blog from the Queen's Card Castle...and now here is what I made.I made this card for my daughter to give to her dad on Father's Day.

I used kraft cardstock for my card base and made this into a regular A2 sized card. This is a one layer card which I rarely never do but I like how this turned out. Masculine cards are always a struggle but this one came together quite easy. The patterned paper is from Colorbok and so is the scalloped die cut. I fussy cut the scalloped die cut and stamped the sentiment "Happy Father's Day" using momento rich cocoa ink. I also stamped the mustache that comes in the stamp set using the same ink, fussy cut it out and popped it up on foam tape to add to the sentiment tag. I added a strip of patterned paper scalloped edged, also from Colorbok. To finish the front of this card off, I added some hemp cord and a rich brown button from October Afternoon. I went ahead and finished the inside.. here is a peek..

I used the same patterned paper on the inside and stamped the sentiments, "Dad" and "You're the BOMB!" in the same momento rich cocoa ink. I added some hemp cord to the top and added these cute glasses(also from the stamp set) up in the corner. I added some glossy accents to the glasses to make them look more realistic.

Well that is my card for today but please make sure to stop on by the Cardz TV blog and leave a comment for your chance to win not 1, but 2 sets of Cardz TV Stamps! The winner will be announced on Monday via random.org. Below is a list of the participants in today's blog hop. Please be sure to stop by each one and leave some love. Thanks For All You Do!

Hello my friends!! I am back from vacation! I went to Pennsylvania to visit my family and friends and I had such a great time. My niece got so big! AAHH... Just look at how happy these two were to see each other again (My niece on left, my daughter on right).

As much as I enjoyed my getaway for those three weeks, it sure feels good to be back home =)
Okay so I have a card to share with you today. I originally made this to enter into the Papertrey Ink's April Blog Hop but I missed the deadline. Has that ever happened to you? LOL

The challenge was to "tilt" something on your project so for my card, I tilted my washi tape. The card base is some kraft cardstock from the paper loft and measures at 4 1/4 by 5 1/2. I cut a piece of striped paper from Prima into a triangle and added that to the corner of my card. I used some washi tapes from American Crafts to run along the side of the triangle side and down through the middle of the card. I stamped the sentiment "Thanks for all you do" from PTI's Think Big Favorites #6 mini stamp set in Hawaiian Shores ink. To finish off the card I added some pretty white pearl bling from Recollections and added a sweet blue flower from Prima.

Well that is my card for you today... please mark your calendars for Saturday, May 4th to come help celebrate my first blogaversary birthday blog hop!!! There will be some amazing projects and prizes!
Also don't forget that I do have a 200 follower giveaway that you can enter Here. Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!!!

Let the Good Times Roll with Cardz TV's "Good Times Stamp Release" Blog Hop!!

Hello my friends!!! T.G.I.F.!!!
And guess what that means???? Time to have lots of fun, see gorgeous projects and have a chance at winning some awesome blog candy!!! Are you ready??? Here we goooooo.....

Welcome to the Cardz TV Design Team “Good Times” Stamp Release Blog Hop! We’re so happy you’re hopping with us today!

Grab a cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate, and sit back and relax, as we show you what we've created for this blog hop using this brand new Cardz TV Stamps release called “Good Times”.
You should have came here from Julie's Blog but if you want to start at the top of the hop, visit Cardz TV. Here is my project for today's hop:

I used bazzill white cardstock and ran that through my ebosser using one of my cuttlebug embossing plates. I like how the embossed pattern resembles snake skin. Afterall, I'm going for the "animal" look as I used some patterned zebra print paper from the Paper Loft (Hobby Lobby's brand). I cut the patterned papers at 1", 1 1/2" and 1 3/4" and cut them into banners. I used the sentiment "Party Animal" from this new Good Times stamp set and inked that up using some Hawaiian shores ink by PaperTrey Ink and matted it onto some black cardstock and cut at an angle. The black button is from Favorite Findings. Here is a peek at the inside of my card where I used another sentiment from the Good Times stamp set "Let the Good Times Roll"

What's a blog hop without some blog candy! In order to be eligable to win, you must be a follower of my blog and of Cardz TV's blog... I am giving away a MME 6x6 paper pad from the "So Sophie" line. This one is called Graceful. It's a beautiful collection!
Now for a chance to win 2 sets of amazing Cardz TV Stamps from Mary, an EK success punch AND a Cosmo Cricket 6x6 paper pad, leave a comment on the Cardz TV's blog. All winners from the Cardz TV blog and my blog will be announced on Monday, March 25th via random.org.
