Excited to share some news~

Hi there!

 Oh I have been waiting patiently for this day to come! I have been wanting to announce it and today, I finally get to share my news! I have been chosen as the newest designer for the Dies R Us Challenge design team!  I am super excited to be able to work for this company and to work side by side with some really amazing and talented ladies. So keep an eye out as I will be posting my very first blog post for them very soon!

Welcome to another Fun~day Friday Challenge!!

Now that we have expanded our Design team, our designers have been split up into two teams. Each team will take turns completing a challenge so that the designers have one week on and one week off. This week's challenge starts off with team A. Only the original designers are designing today as the new gals don't start up until next week.

Create a card, layout or project using 3 colors, 2 embellishments and 1 technique!

April Release- Little Blue Button Stamps "Little Fairy"

April Release

Hello sweet friends! 

I am super excited for you to see April's new release at Little Blue Button Stamps! Olga Ishenko continues to wow me with her beautiful designs!  Today I was given this sweet little girl, "Little Fairy" to work with. And I enjoyed coloring her up so very much! I used my copic markers to color her. Here is my card.

I printed this adorable fairy onto some Georgia Pacific cardstock and cut her out using my Spellbinders Resplendent Rectangle dies. Again, I colored her in with copics. The patterned paper is from Maggie Holmes and Doodlebug and I cut the yellow print out with the same rectangle dies. I added a strip across the card behind the little fairy for some more interest. I took some rock candy distress stickles and added that to the fairy's wings and also to her hair. I wanted her hair to sparkle and wanted to add some texture. To finish off the card, I added some flowers from Prima and Wild Orchid, added a cute butterfly that I embossed and inked and then created some pearls using liquid pearls in coral. I also added a few pearls to the butterfly's body. Here is a closer look at my card. I hope you like it!
