Cardz TV's "Sew Much Fun" Linky Party #1

Hello my crafty friends~~ TGIF and Happy August to you!
Today is the first day back for the Cardz TV Design Team from our Summer vacation and with us we bring some new & fun challenges, linky parties, and a new name! We have divided our large Cardz TV Design Team into 2 smaller teams, and our new names are: Cardz TV Challenge Go-To Galz, and Cardz TV Linky Party Go-To Galz!

Every other week, both teams will rotate on Cardz TV and you will have a chance to enter our challenge or link up to our linky party! I, as well as my DT sisters are extremely excited about this new format and we hope you will come and play along! As always, we will use random.org to pick a winner for each linky party for some awesome Cardz TV Stamps and lots of other fun prizes!
Each team has picked out their themes for the upcoming linky parties and challenges so you do not want to miss out! Lots of fun ahead!!

So Linky Party #1's challenge is:
“Sew Much Fun” --->  Create a card, layout or craft using real or faux stitching.
You have until 12:00PM EST, Thursday, August 15th to link up your creation! You do not need to use Cardz TV Stamps to enter but if you have them, we sure would love to see them! The link up winner, picked by random.org, will receive a set of Cardz TV Stamps!

So here is what I made for this linky party:

My card base is some black Bazzill CS and sized at 5x5". My patterned papers are from Cosmo Cricket's Honky Tonk line. Now for my cute image. Isn't she darling???? I fell in love with her! I named her too hehe, meet Miranda, the Vintage Seamstress. She's a sweet digital stamp from The Paper Shelter. I just love how this image paired up perfectly with Cardz TV's "Sew Much Fun" stamp set. I stamped the sentiment, "Sew glad we're friends!" in some vineyard berry ink by CTMH directly onto the image. I love how it brings out the burgundy color in the image. I actually cheated this time around as I did not color in this image. I actually used the colored image that came with the digital color-in version. I loved how the colored version looked so much that I had to go with it. I inked around the image and patterned papers using some vintage photo distress ink and I layered the image onto some black CS. Before I adhered the image down, I added some black & white ribbon down the seam and made a cute bow to add to the front of the image. I added some rock candy stickles to her earring, the sewing thread, music notes and the green tablecloth and then added a few enamel dots up in the corner. Here is a peek at the inside of the card and the stamp set.

I carried the ribbon and patterned papers over along with some more enamel dots. I used two more sentiments from the "Sew Much Fun" stamp set, "You're sew sweet!" and "Sew, what's new?". I just love how this card turned out and it's going to a very special friend.

The awesome Cardz TV Linky Party Go-To Galz have done an amazing job on this link up, and have truly given us some fantastic inspiration! Be sure to stop on by each of their blogs, become a follower, and leave them some comment love! I hope you decide to link up to our FIRST linky party!!!
