Today we are showing you the new and awesome
stamp set “Winter Wonderland”
This is what I created using this stamp set.
I decided to make some Christmas cards and get a some-what early/late start on them LOL
So here is my first card and I apologize for the bad lighting. I tried for nearly 30 minutes to get the proper lighting and failed. =(
For this card, I used one of the trees from the set, stamped it three times & watercolored it in using Clover Meadow ink by CTMH. I popped each tree on top of the other for some added dimension. I added some white flock and rock candy stickles to make the tree look snowy and icy and added a few dots of Christmas red stickles as ornament balls. Also from this set, I used the sentiment "Winter Wonderland" but only inked up the word "Winter" in CTMH's Holiday red ink. The CS is from Bazzill and the patterned paper is from DCWV's "The Christmas Combo" stack. I added the doily distressed with tea dye distress ink, added some more stickles and that was it! Now for my second card...
I wanted a CAS style card to mainly focus on the beautiful snowflakes in this set. When I think of Winter Wonderland, I think of snowflakes, icicles, snowmen, etc. The snowflakes that I have put into this stamp set are just beautiful. Very many different variations and sizes. So I made my own patterned paper using 4 of the snowflakes which I inked up with CTMH's Heavenly Blue ink. I used some white opaque sequins to mimic snowflakes as well and you cannot really see it, but I have added some rock candy stickle swirls all around the paper as well. It really glistens and sparkles in real life. Also from the set, I inked up the sentiment "Winter Wonderland" in momento tuxedo black ink. To finish it off, I used some twine and tied it into a bow as I felt it needed just a little extra something. All the paper used for this card is from Bazzill.
Just a reminder.. in order to win Winter Wonderland, visit each blog along the hop and leave a comment! Also, all four sets that will be released this week will be available for purchasing on Thursday, November 21st at 3pm and will ship out on Monday, November 25th!
Soooo are you ready for some Blog Hoppin Fun???
