May Release
Hello sweet friends!
Welcome to a brand new week! I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day and weekend and hopefully you are ready to get a jump start on gathering fun ideas and inspiration for all your crafty projects! With that being said, welcome to Crafty Monday!!!
So here we are in May already! A new month which means a new release yay! The Little Blue Button Shop has released some adorable digital stamps again this month. Olga truly is one talented lady and her digital stamps are so lovely! Today I have the pleasure of working with this adorable digital stamp called, Some Coffee.
Here is what I created today!
My card today measures 5" by 5". My "Some Coffee" image was printed on some Georgia Pacific cardstock and then cut out with Spellbinders floral oval dies. I colored my image using my Zig Clean Color Real brush markers. I did some doodling to the shopping bags to give them some pattern and I added some necklaces to the ladies. To finish this image off, I added some soft blue in the background for the sky and added glitter to the dresses and headband using my clear Spectrum Sparkle pen.
I die cut the next size up in the floral ovals to have another oval layer. I popped my image up with foam dots and adhered it to the larger oval layer. I then adhered those two layers to a piece of aged woodgrain paper from My Mind's Eye. I don't know why, But I love the look of aged wood! I adhered all three layers to a white cardstock base. For my sentiment, I took a sticker that I had from an ephemera pack from Maggie Holmes, "Live Simple" and cut it apart. The two banner tags at the top corners were apart of this sticker. I just cut them off the ends and used them as corner pieces. Then with the sentiment already cut into two words, I placed them where I thought I liked them best. And to finish my card off, I added some flowers from Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts after I added some sparkle to them using the same sparkle pen. I added a few sprigs of baby's breath, some pearl spray and a cute little heart tucked in there on the right. Here are a couple more photos.
Well I hope you enjoyed my card today, showing off this adorable Some Coffee image! Please remember to head on over to the LBBS Blog to check out the awesome projects that my design team sisters have created for you using May's New Release.
I would like to enter this in the following challenges:
