New August Release with Little Blue Button Stamps!!

Little Blue Button Stamps

Hello sweet friends!
I know that it's been a little bit since I've had anything up on my blog to share with you but today I do! :)

Today, I will be sharing a brand new image with you from  August's new release. The Little Blue Button Stamps Shop has released some amazing digital stamps for this new release as always and I am super excited to share with you what I created using this adorable digital stamp called, "Pose of an elongated triangle".

Here is my card!

When I first saw this image, I wasn't sure what type of card to make but then it came to me. I wanted to make a card of encouragement for a friend of mine who is working very hard on losing weight and becoming more healthy. :)  As we all know, sometimes the hardest things we do in life, are for ourselves. Our self image, our self worth and our love for ourselves can be a full-time job and it makes for some trying times. So I hope this card will bring some encouraging words of hope and love to my friend and give her the motivation to keep working hard! I am so proud of her and I'm excited for her to get this card!

So I colored the image in using my zig clean color real brush markers and added in a light shadow underneath her, otherwise it looked like she was just floating. :)

I cut down the paper to size for an A2 card and adhered it to a white card base.  I used a few scrap pieces of Stampin Up Night of Navy cardstock to add a pop of color and to bring out the blue in her "workout" outfit. I cut a strip measuring 1.5" x 4 .3/4" and embossed it using my wood planks embossing folder to give the look of a nice wood floor. A thin strip of blue went across the top to balance out the color. The sentiment comes from a SU set called, "Itty bitty greetings". To finish off the card, I added in a few sequins on the corners and some clear Spectrum sparkle pen to her shirt for a little sparkle.  That's it! Kept it clean and simple.

Well I hope you enjoyed my  card showing off this adorable "Pose of an elongated triangle". image! Please remember to head on over to the LBBS Blog to check out the awesome projects that my design team sisters have created for you using August's New Release.
