Here is what I created this week for the challenge

I created a standard A2 sized card using some kraft CS as my base. All my papers are from Daphne's Closet collection kit from Lawn Fawn. My first layer is a cute green/white pattern cut at 4x5 1/4". My next layer is a pretty soft blue diamond pattern cut at 3 3/4" x 5. On the other side of this paper is that cute arrow paper on the bottom which I cut out at 4x 1 3/4". Before I adhered that arrow pattern down, I used some of Lawn Fawn's goldenrod cord and wrapped it around a couple times for some added texture. I cut out a circle with my circle punch at 1" and created my own button out of that green/white pattern and threaded some more of that goldenrod cord through and tied it into a bow.

For my main focal image, I stamped out this cute polaroid picture frame from the Say Cheese stamp set. I stamped it on white CS from Bazzill and on that blue diamond pattern from the Daphne's Closet papers. I used Lawn Fawn's Say Cheese Lawn Cuts polaroid die to cut out my frame. I used some of the green/white pattern paper to create some grass. I cut it into a small strip and used my scissors to make slits for the grass. I adhered that to the inside of the blue frame. Then I took the two frames and adhered them together, interlocking one inside the other.

I stamped out a tree, giraffe and rhino from Lawn Fawn's Critters on the Savanna stamp set, colored them in with my copics and then cut them out using the Critters on the Savanna Lawn Cuts dies. I love these new dies that Lawn Fawn has come out with! They make projects like this one so easy to make! The only image that I had to fussy cut was the tree. They don't have a die for that. The clouds were cut out using the Sunny Skies Lawn Cuts dies. I took my B00 copic to outline the clouds and the rhino's horn and then added a bit of glitter using my sakura glitter pen. The cute sentiment "You make me smile" comes from Lawn Fawn's Hello Friend stamp set which was inked up with momento tuxedo black ink. I started building my scene by adhering the clouds to the back of the frame first. Then I added the rhino to the grass, then the giraffe and finally the tree. The entire frame and scene is on some foam tape.I love how this scene turned out! It's soooo cute! Don't ya think?

To finish off my card, I took my sakura glitter pen again and added "dots" of glitter to the middles of  where the diamonds meet on the blue frame. I love this as that frame really looks awesome! I also colored in the white frame with the glitter pen. Below is a picture of the finished inside of the card which has another sentiment from the "Hello Friend" stamp set and another little "scene" using more images from the Critters on the savanna stamp set.  I went back to add some Mint Satin Sequins from Neat & Tangled.

Well that is my card for ya for today so let's see what the design team has created. Now keep in mind that not everyone had Lawn Fawn stamps so they created their own cute creations with whatever critters they did have! And boy are they cute!!!

Little Girl Birthday~

Click Here for my 200 Follower Giveaway!

Hello Friends!
I'm so super excited because I am just 6 more followers shy of reaching my 200 Follower goal! Thank you so much to all of you who have made this possible for me. Before I get to my card for today, I really want to take a moment to welcome all of my new followers who have recently joined my blog in the past couple of weeks. Welcome to all of my new bloggy friends. New or old, each one of you are one of life's blessings to me and I cherish the friendships that bloom, the inspiration that you bring to my world through your love of crafting and the many challenges you help me to achieve. Before I started blogging a little over a year ago, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I say that in a good way. I had no clue the beautiful people that I would befriend and have the pleasure of actually having in my life on a daily basis. I'm very thankful for each blessing that has touched my life in one crafting way or another. So thank you my friends.

Ok now on to my card....

For my card today, I decided to color up this adorable digi cutie, BBrat Girl Balloon Sitter by Bugaboo Digi Stamps. I think she is the cutest little thing! Isn't she adorable? I printed her out on some basic white CS by Georgia Pacific at 3.5". I colored her in using my Bic markers. I was very impressed with how well I was able to get these markers to blend. I added some Avocado liquid pearls to the balloon to give the balloon some texture. I just randomly created different sizes of dots. I also added some White Opal liquid pearls to create some jewelry for this cutie. I created three small dots for a bracelet, gave her some earrings, one small dot for a necklace line charm, created a cute headband piece in front of her bow and added a dot to each shoe strap. To finish her off, I added some rock candy stickles to the heart on her pants and to the bow. I love how she turned out! She was cut out using my Spellbinder's classic scalloped circle dies on the largest die and I inked up around the die using milled lavender distress ink. She is popped up on some foam tape and adhered onto my embossed front layer.

The front layer started off as a piece of vintage cream CS from Papertrey Ink and was then ran through my Martha Stewart Poppy embossing folder which was inked up with milled lavender distress ink. That main layer is mounted onto a piece of lavender CS from Recollections. The overall size of the card is 5"by 5".  My sentiment comes from one of my new favorite stamp sets called, Across the Card by Neat & Tangled. I stamped it using my Hero Arts charcoal ink onto a piece of vintage cream CS which was then mounted on another piece of the lavender CS.

To finish off my card, I added a few handmade flowers that I made. I added a cute lush sparkle lightz to the center of each flower. I then added some pretty purple sequins around the card.

Well my friends, that's all I have for you.
I hope you have enjoyed my card today.
Until next time, enjoy life's blessings~
