Hello my friends!
Happy Thursday! Are you anxiously excited that tomorrow is Friday and the weekend will be here! I know I am! I have so much to do this weekend and with my daughter's birthday less then 4 weeks away, I need to get in my craft room and get a jump start on her party favors and birthday banner. I live for my weekends =)
Today is Thursday and we know what that means! It's another challenge over at Just A Scrappin and this week's challenge is Christmas in July! The colors to use this week are WHITE, BLACK, PINK and any other color that you would like to incorporate. So I chose blue as my additional color and I decided go with more of a wintery feel and this is what I came up with....
I went with a different size card today and made this a 4x4 card. My solid cardstock is from Bazzill and patterned papers are from DCWV. I stamped this adorable Fiona and her friend Penguin stamp by Your Next Stamp in momento tuxedo blank ink and colored it in using my copics: B52,BV00,RV02,RV63,V15,E000,E00,YR01,Y19,W5 and 100. The image was cut out using my spellbinder's classic cirlcles and is up on one thickness of foam tape. The sentiment "So Cool" is from Paper Trey Ink's Handwritten Notes stamp set. I just LOVE this stamp set. I reach for it a lot because of the versatility of it. I went with the "So Cool" sentiment because well, it's cool outside during the winter! The sentiment is up on two thicknesses of foam tape and I cut it into a banner.
Well that is all I have for you but please stop by Just A Scrappin's blog to see what my other DT sisters have created for this challenge. I hope you get creative and play along with us this week! Thanks for stopping by!
