Okay now on to our Ask Jo Q&A:

Our first question today comes from Valerie L. who asks, "When creating a page layout or card, where do you get your inspiration?

Hi Valerie!
Many different things spark my inspiration believe it or not. There are times I look through my old Creating Keepsakes Magazines and my Paper Crafts Magazines for inspiration and I also end up finding new ideas and techniques too. I keep a lot of my old magazines for this purpose and when you are stuck and do not have any mojo, these old magazines definitely bring you some back!
I also go to Pinterest a lot for inspiration and ideas too. Another great resource I turn to is Design Seeds which helps me with color combinations if i'm struggling with picking out papers or colors that go together well. And lastly, I go to many of the wonderful blogs that I follow for inspiration because there are so many TALENTED crafters out there that when I visit a blog, I walk away learning something new and inspired. I hope this has helped you and that these sites can give you some mojo and inspiration when you are feeling like you have ran out of some of your own~ Was great hearing from you Valerie and hope to hear from you again soon!

Our next question comes from Sherrie K. who asks,"How much time do you spend a week creating projects, commenting, blogging etc? Do you choose certain days or an amount of time per week to create, post, blog?

Hello Sherrie!
Most weeks I try to schedule at least 2 days that I can dedicate to creating projects. For me, those days are usually Fridays & Saturdays during the late hours of the night when everyone is asleep. When I am unable to create on the weekends, my go to day is Wednesday only because on Wednesdays I do not have a lot going on as far as blogging, challenges, etc. I normally know in advance the week before how my schedule looks so I'm able to determine if the weekend will work for me or if I have to resort to creating on Wednesday. As far as commenting and blogging, I spend on average roughly 3-4 hrs per day doing both with the exception of Saturday and Sundays. Those are my "off the computer days" for the most part because it is spent with family and now that football is back on, Sundays are our Football days!
But basically, during a week's time I spend more time commenting and blogging and getting things ready for the upcoming week's challenge then I do anything else. I enjoy what I do so much and blogging has become a way of life for me over the past year. It really has. A lot of people wonder how I manage the time to do it all but I am great with time management and the fact that I don't have an outside job to go to every day  and that I only get about 4-5 hours of sleep per night, it gives me the time to do it all. So I hope that answered your questions =)
It was great hearing from you Sherrie, hope to again very soon!

Thanks for the great questions today Valerie and Sherrie!
Well my friends that's it for today. I hope you have a great day!
Thanks for stopping by and until next time.... Enjoy life's blessings~

  4. Congrats to all the winners and also for choosing mine in the top 3! Yay!!
I love Talk Time Tuesday! I am addicted to Pinterest too and of course my bloggy buddies for inspiration! Great advise...sometimes you fall into a "brain freeze" mode and loose the mojo for creating so that is great advise...it does help!
I definitely need to manage my time better and find a schedule that works...I need to try having a couple days for just creating, a couple for commenting/blogging and a couple off days..I like that plan! I am all over the board right now, yikes! I love it, just need to find my balance!
    Thanks for sharing Jo!!
    Have a great evening!
