Blogaversary Designer Spotlight! Celebrating 6 years!

Hello Friends!
We are celebrating all month long because Jo's Scrap Shack has just turned 6!! If you saw our post last Wednesday you know that this year I have decided to forego the blogaversary blog hop and focus more on my amazing designers who work so hard each week to bring you beautiful projects full of inspiration. :)

So we are going to be having a celebration all month long during the month of May! Each Wednesday I will be featuring one or two of the designers in the spotlight so that you can get to know them just a little better and visit their blogs! But Don't worry! I haven't forgotten about all of you either, my very loyal and amazing bloggy friends and followers!!! Each week I will be giving away  different prizes to celebrate our 6th birthday!!!

This week's giveaway will be a surprise mystery box of product with a value worth $30!!

To be eligible to win this week's prize and the rest of the prizes all month long:

1. Make sure you are a subscriber to Jo's Scrap Shack
2. Come back every Wednesday throughout May and see what designer is in the spotlight and leave a comment under their post!
3. Visit the designer's blog and leave a little love over there too! (We want you to see just how talented these designers are & they have amazing projects on their blogs!)

*BONUS*.... earn yourself 3 extra entries for this week's prize by visiting us on Our Facebook Page and sharing our post about our 6th birthday!

All winners will be announced on June 6th!!

Today, we welcome our sweet and lovely

 designer Christine to the spotlight!

Hello Friends, it's Christine here!
When Jo shared the exciting news about celebrating her sixth year of blogging at Jo's Scrap Shack, I began mentally paging through paper stacks, dies, and stamps to plan a special card. In my mind it was girly, floral, and layered with delicate cuts.  In reality, the card I needed was to celebrate the May birthday of one of my favorite guys ever--my dad.  I find masculine cards more challenging to make, but I am happy with the way this one turned out.   The circular image was cut right out of the middle of a sheet from a Tim Holtz stack....love doing that, but I end up with some strangely shaped scraps!

Thanks, Jo, for the privilege of being on the design team.  I started designing for Jo's Scrap Shack on  November 11, 2016,  and I was thrilled to be able to create a Veterans Day card for my first post.   I am constantly inspired by the team's creations and blessed by visiting the participants' blogs to see their entries each week.

Happy, Happy Birthday!
Christine

Thank you so much Christine!!!  Masculine cards are always a challenge I think for most of us. I know for me it is. I think you did a beautiful job with the design and paper choices. That cut out image in the circle is perfect because I can imagine that would be you with your daddy. I am sure he will love this and please tell him that I said Happy Birthday! I am blessed that I am able to call you my friend and I have enjoyed getting to know you and working with you for the past year in a half.  I  appreciate all your hard work and all you do for our team! Love ya bunches!!! xoxo
