New Year & A little "Frozen" treat!

Happy New Year everyone!!!
Wow, can you believe it? It's January 1, 2015! Did we really just fly by  through another year so quickly? Yikes! It seems like the older I get, the faster the years come and go. That is kind of scary in a way. I know you all are thinking the same thing as me too LOL.

Did you enjoy your New Year's holiday? Every year, my family and I always watch Dick Clark's NYE live (God bless him, I miss that man) and this year was no different. But I will say this, Taylor Swift must have been literally FROZEN with that skimpy outfit she was wearing!! Did you see her? And Speaking of Frozen....... that was the biggest Rave for 2014. My niece & daughter just adore the movie Frozen, the song "Let it Go", and of course, Elsa, Anna & Olaf. Well while I was surfing the internet awhile back, I came across this favorite winter treat, Frozen style! Ya ready? "Frozen" Hot Chocolate! Who doesn't love a nice mug of hot chocolate on a frozen winter's night right? And if you have little girls, granddaughters, nieces or friends; Or if you are like ME and just love the Movie, try whipping this up! I promise you will love it!

Recipe:

Ingredients (serves 2-3):
4 ounces of white chocolate, chopped
1 3/4 cups milk
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Few drops of blue food coloring
Whipped cream
Blue sugar crystals

Directions:

In a small sauce pan over medium/low heat, add the chopped white chocolate and milk, bring to simmer (don't let it boil). Keep stirring until the chocolate is completely melted, remove from heat. Stir in vanilla extract and blue food coloring. Pour into mugs, serve with whipped cream and blue sugar crystals. Enjoy!

Now mind you, I cannot take the credit for this delicious little treat. I found this on Sweet Caroline's Corner. You should definitely check out her blog. She has some really great recipes for those of us who have a sweet tooth! What a great way to start off the new year though! A nice mug of "Frozen" hot chocolate and perhaps a good movie with a snuggle buddy! Perhaps the movie Frozen and Olaf? Hehehe.

Well my friends, enjoy your holiday today! I can already feel it that 2015 is going to be a great year ahead. Here is to wishing each of us a great year full of love, great health, financial stability and lots and lots of crafty goodiness!!

Until next time ... Enjoy life's blessings~

Happy New Year!!

My sweet friends....
2014 has been a rough year for me. Between health issues, my company being put on hold, moving back east and more health issues, I welcome the new year in hopes of bigger and brighter days! I hope to see my health take a direction in a positive way and I hope to open up the doors again to 3 Twenty Crafts. My year has been extremely tiring so with the new year, I anticipate having less stress, more nights full of good rest and more time to craft. I welcome all good things positive into my life and I am completely content with saying good bye to all things negative.  I also hope to achieve some small goals I have set for myself and would love to meet more bloggy friends!! Without all of you this past year, I would not have been able to get through some of the roughest times of my life. Friends come in all forms of circles, all platforms of social media and the very best friends are the ones I have met here in blogland.

My wish for you in welcoming the new year, is that you achieve all you set out to do. That you find your creative outlets through your own art and that you have an abundance of great health and love! To the new year my friends! To 2015!!!!

Have a very HAPPY and HEALTHY new year!!!!
Until next time... enjoy life's blessings~
