Another Challenge with Just A Scrappin'

Hello my friends, It's Thursday so that means there is another challenge going on over at Just A Scrappin'. This week's challenge is for design team 1 and the challenge is to create a card, layout or project using a stamped image and using the colors Orange and Lime Green. Any other colors are also okay to use with these two colors so I automatically thought Halloween and this is what I came up with:
My card is a standard A2 card and the papers used are Bazzill and Colorbok. I stamped out these four creepy images from my stamp set called "Happy Halloween" from Inkadinkado and colored them in using my prisma colored pencils. I mounted them on 1 1/4" squares that I cut out using my creative memories square punch. The images were then mounted on 1 1/2" black squares. I used one of my copics to outline the images in orange to make them pop off the black. I used my distressing tool to distress my layers to give it more of a spooky vibe. I love how it turned out!

My sentiment stamp is from Mary's Cardz TV stamp set called "More Spooky Sayings". I thought this sentiment went perfect with these creepy Halloween creatures! Here is a little peek at the inside:
The inside sentiment is from the new Cardz TV Set Oct. 31st and the tiny bats are from the Inkadinkado set.

I hope you stop on over to Just A Scrappin and link up your creation for this challenge and see what the wonderfully talented design team members created!
Have a wonderful day and thank you for stopping by!

Another Halloween Card~

Hey Ya'll how is your Saturday going? I have a cute Halloween card that I made and I think the lucky little witch(oops!, lady lol) that will receive this card is going to be my daughter. She loves it when I make her anything crafty and she was just a little bummed after she saw me make a Halloween card for my niece,so this should cheer her up!
I just recently got the new Teddy Bear Parade cricut lite cartridge and so I had to make one of these adorable bears! I think this bear is so stinkin cute dressed up as a witch for Halloween! I cut her out at 3" and her pumpkin candy bag and her broomstick out at 2". I put some ultra fine glitter on her pumpkin bag, broom, hat buckle and her dress. I love anything that sparkles!

To finish off this cute little witch I added some googly eyes and she is on two thicknesses of foam tape. The papers I used are Bazzill and Studio G. That cute candy bg paper was only $.99 at WalMart! I LOVE WalMart! I cut the scalloped circles off my pazzles and added a cute little orange button with some hemp. Of course my sentiment is from my favorite stamp set right now, More Spooky Sayings from Mary's Cardz TV Stamps and this is also on two thicknesses of foam tape.

I finished the inside of this card as well, here is a little peek

I used my elegant edges cricut cartridge to cut out a little oblong frame and used more of the scalloped circles for my inside sentiment "Happy Halloween" which is also from Mary's Cardz TV
Stamps

Well that is all I have for today guys!
Thank you for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Cricut Card Challenge #116 "Creature Feature"

Hello my friends! I'm super excited that it is Friday!! I have the entire weekend to get crafty and that is exactly what I plan on doing! Okay so onto my card...I am playing along with Cardz TV's Cricut Card Challenge #116 "Creature Feature". The challenge is to make a card for Halloween using the card feature from any cartridge, and using any colors you’d like so I used my Wild Card cartridge and this is what I came up with:

I found this adorable card on page 68 and cut it out at 4". I cut out the R.I.P. tombstone at 2.5" and the bat at 1 3/4". I used Mary's Cardz TV stamp set "More Spooky Sayings" and stamped "Spooky", "Boo", "Creepy" and "Yikes" for some fun.

I hand drew the "web line" for the spider and the spider stamp is an old stamp that I got at Michael's. I used my white gel pen to outline the pumpkin and for the pumpkin's eyes and the bat's eyes. All my papers are from Bazzill. I am going to stamp "Happy Halloween" in orange zest ink (Paper Trey Ink) behind the pumpkin and give this cute card to my 5 year old niece for Halloween along with some Halloween goodies. I hope you come join us for this challenge and if you do, there is the chance that you could win a great prize!!!
Thanks for stopping by!!!! Enjoy your weekend!
