"Fall-o-ween Fun" Challenge #17 with Cardz TV!

Happy Friday my blog friends!

"Fall-o-ween Fun"

Winner (chosen by random.org) Announced: Friday, October 26th @ Cardz TV

I know by now everyone is probably Halloween'ed out by all the Halloween cards I have been making lately but today is a little bit different as I did not make a Halloween card! Instead I made a Halloween treat bag! Yep ya see, I have an adorable 5yr old niece that I had to move away from in December who would just love spending Halloween with her Aunt Jo and her cousin. So this year since we are unable to be there, I thought I would send her a little treat bag of goodies to let her know that she's still my favorite little pumpkin! This is my niece Alaina....

Isn't she the cutest? I know I'm biased but what can I say? She's beautiful!
So here is the treat bag that I created for her...
I purchased this treat bag from Wal-Mart a few weeks ago. I also got two more in red and green for upcoming Christmas projects of course! I used some decorative Halloween paper that I had in my stash to cut down to size and covered the front of this bag. I also used some black Bazzill paper for the bottom portion.  I used my Happy Hauntings cricut cartridge to make the spooky yet fun Halloween scene. The spooky tree was cut out at 5 1/2", the fence and crow at 4", the grass at 4 1/4" and the sneaky little mouse was cut at 4 1/2". He does look like he's up to no good huh? LOL ..
All of my images were made with Bazzill cardstock.

Here is a side view of the bag and a closer look at this mischievious mouse!

Here is a picture of the tag I created for the bag. The tag itself was a tag that I have had for awhile. It came in a box of about 25 that I picked up at Staples. I used some chalk to distress the look of it a bit.  The sentiments, "Oct.31", "All Hallows Eve" and "Happy Haunting" are from the new Mary's Cards TV Stamp set "Oct.31" Here is a picture of the stamp set. Just look at all these wonderful Halloween sentiments

To finish off the tag and treat bag, I added some orange ribbon and some black polka dot ribbon( to match the background paper on the front of the bag). The tag has the ribbon going through it at the top for a little decorative element and the treat bag "ribbon" handle is just perfect in size for little Alaina's hands. I sure hope this treat bag puts a smile on her face!

Cardz TV Challenge #16 "Buttons & Boo's"

Today is the beginning of a brand new challenge for

"Buttons & Boo's!"

Starts: Friday, Oct. 5th@ 12:00 am EST
Ends: Thurs, Oct. 11th @ Noon EST
Details: Create a card, layout or craft project for Halloween using Buttons
Prize: 1 set of Cardz TV Stamps of the winner's choice
Winner (chosen by random.org) Announced: Friday, Oct. 12th @ Cardz TV

I am so excited about this challenge because I got to use an action wobble on my card and we all know how fun action wobbles are! So here what I created...

My card is standard size 4 1/4 by 5 1/2. My solid cardstock is Bazzill and the cute ghost paper is from Colorbok. I thought this paper was just perfect for my card! I used my Martha Stewart "boo" punch to make the top border on my purple layer. The ghost was cut out at 3" from the Happy Hauntings cartridge. My sentiment is from Mary's Cardz TV Stamps from the new set "Oct. 31st".

I really LOVE Mary's stamps! She has the best quality stamps and always thinks of everything! This set in particular has to be one of my favorites. The sentiments are just perfect for Halloween and that cute bingo card.. ahhh...the endless possibilities!  I HEART Mary! Thank you Mary!!!!

For those of you who have been following my blog, you know that I have been trying to use something that I've had for ages in my stash of tools and supplies on my current projects. So for this card I used the MS Punch and some "fun fur" fibers that I've had for years. I added a bit of the purple fibers above my sentiment.  To finish off my card I added two purple buttons that have some twine going through them that I purchased at The Twinery.  Oh and I did mention in the beginning of my post that I used an action wobble right?? hehehe.. here is my cute ghost wobbling away!

So what are ya waiting for? Get your Halloween Mojo going and link up your creation by Thursday, October 11th by Noon to get yourself in the drawing for one of Mary's amazing stamp sets! I cannot wait to see what you create! To help with some inspiration, stop on by at Cardz TV and see what beautiful projects my design team sisters have created!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful weekend!

Hugs,

Another Challenge with Just A Scrappin'

Hello my friends, It's Thursday so that means there is another challenge going on over at Just A Scrappin'. This week's challenge is for design team 1 and the challenge is to create a card, layout or project using a stamped image and using the colors Orange and Lime Green. Any other colors are also okay to use with these two colors so I automatically thought Halloween and this is what I came up with:
My card is a standard A2 card and the papers used are Bazzill and Colorbok. I stamped out these four creepy images from my stamp set called "Happy Halloween" from Inkadinkado and colored them in using my prisma colored pencils. I mounted them on 1 1/4" squares that I cut out using my creative memories square punch. The images were then mounted on 1 1/2" black squares. I used one of my copics to outline the images in orange to make them pop off the black. I used my distressing tool to distress my layers to give it more of a spooky vibe. I love how it turned out!

My sentiment stamp is from Mary's Cardz TV stamp set called "More Spooky Sayings". I thought this sentiment went perfect with these creepy Halloween creatures! Here is a little peek at the inside:
The inside sentiment is from the new Cardz TV Set Oct. 31st and the tiny bats are from the Inkadinkado set.

I hope you stop on over to Just A Scrappin and link up your creation for this challenge and see what the wonderfully talented design team members created!
Have a wonderful day and thank you for stopping by!
