10 Min Craft Dash #18

Click Here for my 200 follower giveaway!!

Hello my crafty friends!
Today's card was created for Paulina's 10 Minute craft dash challenge.
This card cut it close for me as I finished at 9mins and 52secs.

All my papers are from Colorbok. I used my Top Note die from Stampin Up to use as my main layer. I cut it out twice and ran them through my swiss dots and houndstooth embossing folders using my ebosser. My sentiment "You're never more than a thought away" is from an old Stampin Up set called "Whimsical Words". I am not sure if they still have this set or not but it has some great sentiments.

To finish this card off, I wrapped some "Honeydew" twine from (The Twinery) around the main layer and added a couple of buttons with twine bows. The buttons are from October Afternoon. Well that is my card for today. I hope you try this challenge out! It is definitely challenging LOL. So head on over to the Pretty Pink Posh blog and give it a try! Thanks for stopping by today!

Now onto my card today... I am participating in the awesome and very challenging
The wonderful Paulina from Pretty Pink Posh has created this crazy but "oh so much fun" challenge and week #17's challenge is to use the colors, kraft/aqua/coral. Here is what I came up with:

I used kraft cardstock from Papertrey Ink as my card base. My first layer is the pretty aqua cardstock and my front layer is a coral piece of cardstock, both from Colorbok. I took my front layer and embossed it using the "Happy Birthday" embossing folder by Darice. I took my sponge and rubbed some tea dye distress ink over the embossed area to bring it out more. I added two aqua brads from Stampin Up, some sequins and finished it off with some Martha Stewart ribbon and some coral buttons that I had in my stash.
This card took me 8 MINS, 23 SECS.

Well that is my card for today.
I would also like to enter this card in the following challenge:
Ribbon Carousel's Celebrations Challenge!!!
The Ribbon Carousel is giving away one of these awesome ribbon carousels every month to one of the challenge participants! How cool is that?

10 Minute Craft Dash Challenge 14

Hello my friends =)
I want to share an Easter card that I made for my 5 year old niece. I found a new blog the other day, Pretty Pink Posh and the owner Paulina created a very cool challenge called 10 minute craft dash. The challenges are themed(mainly by color)and you only have 10 minutes from start to finish to complete your card or project. I think this is awesome and to be honest, it is definitely a challenge!

So I decided to participate in Challenge #14. The colors are pink/tan/green. This card took me 9 minutes and 34 seconds to complete, here is my card.

pretty pink posh, easter, bunnies, verve stamps

I used some kraft cardstock for my card base and my card is four in a quarter by five in a half. For my first layer, I used a piece of mint green and white speckles patterned paper from Creative Memories and then I took a lace doily and adhered only half on top of the PP and then cut off the rest. The bunny and the flower were stamped onto white cardstock in momento rich cocoa ink and then fussy cut out. The bunny and flower were colored in using copics  R81, R83, RV95, YG05, YG06 and YG67. They are from the stamp set Hoppy Easter by Verve.

The sentiment "Easter Wishes" was stamped in new leaf ink by Papertrey Ink and then cut out using my 1 1/2" circle punch. The sentiment is from Studio G. To finish off the card I added some pink and white polka dot ribbon that I had in my stash and I added a green gumdrop to the flower center. Here is a peek at the inside of the card that has the sentiment "some bunny loves you" by Cardz TV's "Easter Punnies" stamp set and is also stamped in the new leaf ink.

Well thats my card for today! I sure hope you stop by the Pretty Pink Posh Blog and have a look around and I challenge you to take the 10 minute craft dash! I am also linking this card up to Craftin Desert Diva's Linky Party. Thanks for stopping by!
